Description
The Copernican Model of the universe was an improvement over the Ptolemaic Model. It proposed a heliocentric model as opposed to a geocentric model. While he was wrong about the Sun being at the centre of the universe and stationary and that planetary orbits were circular, he did bring us closer to our modern understanding.
